Right, I have come to the conclusion that the weather station is on the blink, Just been outside, frost all over the cars, that doesn't happen at 3.6C and DP of 0.8C.

How annoying!!

This is funny! Lol!

Temp has been rising here since approx 1900hrs apparently. Now at 1.8C with dewpoint of 0.2C...interesting.

Wow that is a big difference at short distance I am now 0.1c humidity 91% dew point below freezing.

I did wonder how your temps were so different to mine! I know Poole has its own micro climate but that would be extreme!!

Hope you get your station sorted!

Question for clever bods on here, is the current radar reflecting what the models were showing ie high res ones?

Which weather station do you use?

Only cheap Lidl one but have to say it has always been accurate!

Hmmm!!! Only rain/sleet here, looks like I'll have to go for another drive in the morning :0(

few spots of rain in plymouth.. as you would expect. Nothing heavy though. Moors is a good plan.

W COUNTRY We run for now w idea of snow pushing N frm Dorset/Som later Tues PM, but caution that ECMWF model has light snow to M4 by 9am...

Looking at how fast it is moving on radar ECMWF could be right with it being at M4 by 9am.

Well I'm going for the lowest temp tonight, just hit -7.0c and seems to be leveling off now, I'll be surprised if it gets any colder with the cloud increasing from the West.

Thunder snow on west Dartmoor! Started with rain, then heavy sleet and now heavy snow with a big lightening flash and a roar of thunder as it went from sleet to snow. Dramatic!
