Pretty great snow here. The radar looks dodgy judging by the harsh lines surrounding some of the heavier bursts, certainly heavier here than the radar suggests.

Same here. Heaviest was probably in last 20 mins or so.

It's trying to turn back to snow again now, so good signs at least.

After the hail and ice/snow pellets comes the heavy stuff.

Radar seems to be playing tricks...snow was moderately heavy when under the reds/yellows but heavier now under green

Got a lot heavier here in the last 15 minutes. Now very heavy probably at a rate of 1.5 to 2 inches/hour.

Is it snow yet? Hail/ice still here

Probably got about 4cm of fresh snow and still coming down moderately. Radar still looks ok for a few more hours as long as the sleet/rain stats south and west

Anyone else think radar looks dodgy?

Doing well so far! Looks amazing a bit further south mind!

Yep latest BBC forecast shows the main band further south than was originally forecast. Still should get another 1hr or 2hrs I would think but not as heavy.

I see your from Crooks! How much do you reckon we have, certainly still coming down nicely

That makes three of us from Crookes. On gardens and side road pavements I reckon we've got well over 7inches now
