You will be especially unlucky should some of us folk need an umbrella tonight, as I am still expecting purely SNOW as we head into the evening session from say, 7pm onwards. Albeit, it will be something less fanciful in the coastal locations etc.

Snow now lying on all the uncovered surfaces as well as the snow covered fields in north Hampshire. It is struggling though. Only forecast to last here until about 8pm so I need to get some heavier bursts if I'm to get up to 5cm. Pretty sure some areas to the west of here will get 15cm.

Rain here on the IOW east coast with a temp of 5'c but it has now turned to snow on the west side of the island, and Brighstone down is getting a good covering once again!

It is also snowing just west of Newport too.
