Manchester METAR going for some slight accumulation of snow overnight but not amounting to much, looks like anywhere above 1000ft has the better probability into the cooler nocturnal hours.

Mad now that wind..howling down the chimney..currently having very heavy hail shower

Wasn't too bad here earlier, then the wind started, but it's a bit calmer now.

Interestingly those showers hitting the Fylde, Ribble Valley etc currently were over Eire, a couple of hours ago. The strength of the flow are firing showers across Eire into the Irish Sea and then into NW England. Keep an eye on those clusters leaving Ireland as they wax and wane to see what happens next.

Uppers are set to take a nosedive in thé next 3-4 hours, dewpoints will by midnight be more conducive for snow, interesting eve ahead watching temps take a tumble, keep those temp and dewpoint figures coming
