The clouds over Hyde, West Manchester have gone black! I've not seen clouds this black in a long time... I wouldn't be surprised if we had some lightening soon.

Relentless gales and very heavy showers mainly of rain with some hail mixed in, temp 5.3c it does drop a degree or so during the heavier ppn but quickly jumps back up in between showers.

Temp now at 6c.

The sky certainly doesnt look snowy at all

well it doesnt have to be look not snowy it did it in Leyland few weeks ago. Its been rained than turned to snow pretty fast. Plus it did it when I went to Sweden it just look like rain clouds but it is not. They just clouds. There is no such thing as a snow/rain clouds.

In the Scotland thread they are having sideways whiteout blizzards...sad.png

were next. smile.png

If the skies clear long enough we may actually be lucky.

Rumble of thunder and flash or lightning here... some hail in the showers but just feels very wet. It will take some change overnight to wintryness for anything decent to settle. Temps still too high at the moment.

Skys clearing here, very windy though so cloud cover should increase soon, temp holding staedy at 5c

i would imagine Cheshire will miss out though need more of North Westerly to deliver down here

i would imagine a line from Liverpool accross to Manchester and northwards will see some decent

accumaltions by dawn, hopefully my drive to Manchester at 6am tomorrow will be entertaining

Can't see anything sticking even if it snow its so so so so wet.

dont forget the windchill factor it will freeze tonight under clear skies, between the showers.

even by the mild sector it will still freeze between showers tomorrow night. While I play Jewel crusher on Iphone it just froze just no reason whatsoever. ohmy.png strange. Freezing rain probably just caused it perhaps. rofl.gif

Couple more rumbles of thunder and lightning, felt directly overhead this time. Radar very hard to follow as everything is so fast moving and quickly developing - some hail thrown in the mix.
