Moderate/heavy snow but its a bad sign when the snow is sliding off all the car windows.

You peeps seem to be having a fun time - just a little envious here.. but happy all the same for you... no really I am, after all the talk of the south getting it all biggrin.png

Well someone pulled in with there car and I was going to use this as a guide to how much snow could actually be settling and despite how heavy and persistent the snow is, not an awful lot was accumulating on the windscreen and it was sliding off hence I think its a little marginal in terms of settling snow.

Nevertheless, a good covering and some has been added to earlier it would appear, but perhaps not as much as you would expect.

Great picture! Are you using a special lens? or just a macro?

Glad the north are getting snow, if this was happening in the se, they'd have to issue an amber and it would be all over the news as if a meteor had just hit.

3" of heavy snow and more to come with no alert. The roads must be dangerous. Its on the right side of marginal here. Snow is stuck to the car sides and its not budging.

Oh my couple of inches of snow outside, I didn't expect that like hahaha

Must admit, whilst it did look like Saturday was our best chance for snowfall, this is better than what I was expecting in all honesty. Better make the most of it though!

Hmm I'm meant to be helping my mam move house today, this could be an annoyance tbh lmfao

Around 4cm here in Darlo the dew point is now into positive territory which explains why the snow is sliding of car windows

i like it in here, it's snowier than my thread

Can you add your location to your profile?

Looking like there is more heavy snow to come for parts of the NE for at least the next hour
