After collecting all my data from the prestigious University of Cambridge, the temp will hover around the 0 degree mark and will not drop much below. The dew point only just below the freezing mark.

They better not get too close otherwise the bouncers will have to be drafted in.

edited for poor grammar.

I've always wondered this: why are the called the Downs? Wouldn't the 'Ups' make more sense?

It's from the Saxon word "dun", meaning hill.

A small amount of wet snow mixed in with the rain for about 20 minutes now.

just got back from maidstone via Bluewater... a covering up on Bluebell and a bit by the inn on the lake but otherwise just very wet. In fact it was snowier about 515pm when we first got to Maidstone by the time i headed home was more a 70/30 mix in favour of snow :)

Yes, bored now of getting up and down to check my lamp post full of expectation after reading all the snowy posts, and finding that it's still raining as the temps and dew points rise:(

Pretty impressive dew point SK considering I can hit your bedroom window with a stone.
