Great Pic

Amazing to think that is about 10-15 miles North of Me!

YEP! 12 miles or so to the WNW of me, in marginal situations they always do well.

Hi reef seeker hope you don't mind me asking how much has the dew point risen in Surbiton. Just down the road in chessington the rain turns very sleety with big wet flakes in the heavier bursts. Still a few falling at the moment

Hi I'm using this weather station site (appears to be a motorbike garage!). They are small increases from eg .2-.3 so still room to return to the right direction. Will keep checking my lamp post and good luck in Chessington:)

The map I just posted re. dew points had Biggin Hill bang on the 0c line, seemingly everywhere N & E of it on or sub zero, with places S & W above zero. I'm pretty close to that line, hence the pfaffing about with sleet and a few flakes, now and again!

Regards,

Tom

It rained really hard until about 6, then we had snow, and now it's happily coating the cars & pavements. I'm amazed it's sticking, the ground is soaked.

No complaints here though!! :D

Settling here cars, roofs, grass and other stuff. The only place now is the pavement.

Close enough to drive if you want!

Just don't come along the main road or you're guaranteed to get stuck behind a series of BMW & Mercedes spinning on the spot.

I find it quite funny that a couple of the usual doubters and moaners are reporting rain and mild conditions whilst elsewhere across the region its snowing !!

That's because certain areas just seem to be incredibly unfavourable for snow. I'm giving up on tonight now. Enjoy the snow those of you who have it.

Please post updated screenshots, interested to see if the dew points are going down at all

Considering it has been snowing for 4 hours there is relatively little as it has been wet snow falling on wet ground. Temp is around 0.5C, roofs, grass etc white. Still trying to lay on road, but pesky cars keep driving through mixing in the salt and grit.

Seems to be a good few hours left in though. Canterbury
