Few flakes blowing about here. Mainly sleety rain though. Feels very cold.

If only the normal temp was -2. Slush = mess

Edit: Not even cold enough for slush.

People talk about dew points far too much here. Your scenario is absolutely possible.

The snow is becoming more and more powder like!

Unreal to think 2 hours ago it was heavy rain.

Settling really well here. My drive is covered and now the roads are starting to appear white.

Does it ever rain or snow in Suffolk.... ;-)

Is Suffolk considered the driest county in the UK? We visit Orford a lot and the soil is really sandy around there.

All snow here now and settling readily on everything bar the paths and roads.

If it keeps up for a few hours this might not turn out too bad an event!

Tonight will be all about 2 things

A bit of elevation -

PPN intensity rates- you will need to be in the Green echoes on the radar to get that ZDL level right down to the ground ( unless Herts which is already there )

Nowt here other that rain & sleet & a few snow flakes- as we are at ground level --- I hate Sh*tehithe.
