Hello can someone tell me wether it will snow on my bin in the garden lazy.giflazy.gif

Joking aside, it's very wet here I would be suprised if any snow will settle that much to cause a problem here, I also heard it will turn back to sleet during the night anyway help.gifcray.gif

is this front supposed to pivot? Looks like clearing through too quick??

If I'm reading the radar right the centre of the low is still heading northeast but has slowed considerably in the last hour or two.

Even then, cover is likely to be variable, with some places seeing very little, others 2-4 cm and with the potential for 10 cm or more over parts of the south Pennines and 5 to 10 cm for Kent, and more locally over the Midlands and Essex.

Sleety wet, cold rain mix here, it's made my face freeze after being out and about.

+3.0c

Dp +0.3c

hPa: 999.7 still falling

Sleet in the rain for the last 30 mins. It's very marginal at the moment. Our altitude is clearly helping - I have just driven one of the boys to cricket nets at a school to the east of here, out in the sticks but about 50m lower, where it was all rain. On the journey back the sleetiness kicked in at around 100m. Amazing what difference just 50m of altitude makes when it is this borderline.

I'm in my conservatory and can see no sleetiness here... Must be your extra altitude!

RGS recording 2.7 and 2.1 dp...

But the point is Coast, did you just pop out, go out out, or just pop out and about ?
