Well going by the radar it should have started either snowing or raining here an hour ago, but despite being under a yellow blob, ...nothing :-(

DP is low enough....sods law, the only time the dp is low enough and someone puts a giant umbrella over us :-(

Just started snowing lightly in hangleton :)

Even the greens on the radar are not producing much . . under a green section now . . oh well some snow is better than none

Sounds like it's all evaporating on the way down, I'd guess peoples temps are cooling under this band.

Snowing here but not really covering much. Seems to be dying down now.

Hi PB,

Drove to Weybridge this morning and used the M1 and couldn't believe how much snow was still laying in the fields in your neck of the woods.

Yup... I'm just walking over Priory Park at the moment and can confirm it is very cold and very grey... Nothing is falling from the sky yet...

Current temps are 1.1c / -1.7dp

HEaviest snow of the day so far ( still very small flakes), some accumulation on grass, garden furniture, roofs etc, similar to MarcBs picture, better than nothing smile.png

Edit: Pavements turning white all of a sudden

Had snow for the last 2 hours here, ranging from very light fine flakes to fairly heavy sized ones. Got a very small dusting and still snowing very finely its almost like white dust. Current Temp: 0.7c Dew Point -0.3c.

If we could get some heavier snow it would settle easily but i think we've had it for today, still 4th Consecutive day of snow i can't really complain :D

the band doesnt seem to be making much progress east of west london, some moisture ahead of it giving some sporadic flakes but thats it really....

it was meant to start as snow beacuse of the cold air in place over our region. Its the second (more meaty) band overnight thats gonna give the rain

Possible hat eating....

Think your hat`s fine, just rode home from Canary Wharf and no flakes to be seen.

I`ll even join your wager,if it snows i`ll eat a Brussel sprout!

Started snowing in Brighton wasnt suspecting this ? :/

Iwas going to brave going fishing on the marina today think I'll go Friday now too bloody cold!

Looking at radars it seems to bump into central London and not come any further east bloody heat island!! North West of London must be fun though

Ickle.....ICKLE ????

Blimey Coast. How could you even think of using that 'word'. ??!! Shame on you. Meanwhile here in Nw London the snow is doings its utmost to give a decent account of itself, getting heavier and quite breezy too.

If you'd have kept an eye on this thread from this morning, it's been showing as a possibility all day good.gif . I don't think anyone need rush out for sledges and snow shovels on the way home though, it may not show by tomorrow morning in many places.
