Yes and it was 48 hours before he blew his front right tyre at 50mph! Right old Mess on the Rim

Btw I lied about the Rain in Leigh On Sea and we are having some interesting weather - Look Below

If you watch 1 timelapse watch this - Simply amazing, every 1 second of the timelapse is 30 minutes of the snowstorm

I bet they never thought that they would have to move the camera when it started!

More light snow fall this evening, had it going on and off all day, and not forecast at all, just shows you!

Nothing settling of course, but it's nice too see.

Temp 1c

Don't feel stupid, about your "review"

The ECM is FI la la, cuckoo land.

If its the same at T0, then yes you can feel stupid :-)

12Z coming like a cold bullet at Anglia.

There is obviously 12 hours difference but a definitive easterly flow.

Hopefully this gets pushed back and back until my holiday in East anglia from the 24th:-))

agreed. But importantly,my view is has been one of if not the best trend setter the past eight weeks,so again well worth a beedy eye ön.also been firmer ön an easterly door of kinds, whilst other output strains and squeaks, at greeny heights of sort...so again perhaps a good trend evolving???!!!.

Off topic but to be able to claim about a pothole, it has to have been previously reported to the council...

Been there, done that, got paid out for both wheels on my KTM (motorbike)

I`m sure TEITS mentioned that about Feb10 we would start to see the effects of the 2nd stage of the strat warming. I am not sure I saw the 1st effect but if this is true (mad to doubt him) then who knows. He may even have his hand on the ECM joystick but if there is going to be effects then blocking could/should start to factor.

Maybe midweek is just a blip.

Also off topic....or if the road hasnt been inspected inside it's scheduled inspection period. Dont ask how I know such details - it was painful

Back on topic, wifelet tells me it snowed here in north bucks for much of the morning and a good part of the afternoon, doesnt appear to have added much depth though :(

Well an had a nice surprise of a brief Thames streamer setting up this morning giving us several hours of snow :D none of it settled mind but was still brilliant to see and got fairly heavy for an hour or so. The little snow we had from last night has pretty much all gone :( Cold and dry now and currently 0.8c hasn't been an higher than 1.1c today.

Hopefully we may get one final blast of proper snow before winter's out :)

I tried to video some large snowflakes today with a shaky i-phone. It was worth a try!

  • April 2024 - Was it that cold overall? A look at the statistics
