Here we go again then more hysteria as to whether there will be snow or not, the potential is possibly there but I feel this winter has been just a case of close but no cigar and the next cold snap will probably follow that same trend, just looking forward to some warmer days and the prospect of continuing NOT to get a Greeny high so we can have a decent summer this year!!!!!

Yep, I discovered a hole in one of my walking boots this morning, as I squelched my way home. It hadn't taken much for the fields to get boggy again.

Drove through Salisbury on the way back from buying a new pair and the Cathedral had vanished two-thirds the way up into low cloud.

All in all, a thoroughly miserable day, weather wise.

Really hoping the 18z GFS verifies, would happily wave goodbye to winter if it does after the potentially very snowy Monday it is showing. However, I've been to The pub this evening and its very possible GFS has too!

Interesting. This is the final frame of the NAE which goes out to midnight Sunday morning;

It shows some moderate snowfall across the Midlands with the whole lot moving south/south east into eastern counties of our region. Will be interesting to see what the NAE does with it in subsequent runs.
