I've heard reports that the Sussex snow barrer is smoking and about to brake down, it's all thats stopping us get snow smile.png

It certainly seem that BH is sandwiched between the snow streamer further north and the heavier pulses further south.

What is interesting is that the dew point has dropped massively and even though it has been trying to snow all morning, we are seeing a lot of evaporation/sublimation in the strong, but dry winds. With this allied to the warm ground we are not seeing any great snow depths. This morning during the dog walk, there was a barrier layer between the warm ground and frozen snow layer.

Temp currently -0.2ºC. Dew point -4.3ºC

load of crap here in Burgess Hill sad.png

I've visited BH quite a few times and wouldn't say it's that bad unsure.png

It's blowing upwards outside my office window now!!!!

Maybe you should turn your signature picture downside up then blum.gif

There has been quite a few heavy flurries here giving temporary dusting's...mostly while I was outside doing the hand over at the garage and picking up my new car, just thawing out with a cup a soup now rolleyes.gif

Hi everyone, any chance of seeing anything wintry as far inland as Bucks this week?

Intensely jealous of you lot further South!

That wind brought tears to my eyes and then froze my eyelids open!

It is but its battling against some pretty heavy headwinds in the opposite direction. We need a subtle change in direction or at least those winds to abate sad.png

Hi doofus, where in Bucks are you ?

Can you please put your location in your profile.....you can do this by clicking on your profile (top right hand corner), then clicking "edit profile" add your location and save - thanks good.gif

Agree with you on the windchill it's colder here than on a tin toilet seat on the shady side of a iceberg!

We need nightfall, the sudden drop in temps will stop the melt, hopefully freeze the water already on the floor and then fresh flakes on top! :)

Dover down to Brighton must have a good covering now surely?!

It has been snowing there all morning?

at a guestimate 4cm in Eastbourne near the downs, but crappy little flakes so could be more

Am traveling from Huntingdon cambridgeshire , which has light snow through Cambridge also encountered heavier snow then nothing, drove through dartford and again very heavy snow 21 miles from Maidstone and clear. 18 miles from Maidstone and light flurries seven oaks very grey. Hope those who have snow enjoy it and if you have a long journey drive carefully some areas getting hit with heavy snow.

I've been dry slotted for about the 15th time this winter. That must be some type of record or something? There is snow 10 miles to my South and 10 miles to my North, absolutely epic!
