Very windy in Brighton, snow blowing around in the wind, only 1cm on the grass however!

Hi folks ,just driven in to Docklands from Herne Bay and the roads were fine,light snow in places,heavier nearer to London,strong winds and just above zero C.

We have some moderate snow falling now,with some heavy bursts.Looks like a blizzard when the wind is blowing hard.Very gusty.

Agree with Dallas, we had a very heavy shower of sideway snow, closest to a blizzard I seen for a many of a year, eased off now, everything covered but only just, was blowing around and off the roof, quiet exciting for the 5 minutes it lasted for.

Heavy blowing snow showers at present has given a slight covering in the last hour, difficult driving conditions, low visibility in the heavier showers 0c picture taken just a moment ago in back garden.

Radar says it should be snowing here but nothing is falling.

Also is the low further north than predicted

Moderate blowing snow south of croydon. Looks like we are going to be in a shower train according to rain today radar.

Just took another peek outside,where did that dusting come from??

Now on the pc so looking at the NW radar i guess this is a front pushed up from the main low?
