When I come out of hibernation I shall predict a glorious summer and hope that I can forecast better than Phil because Phil's predictions have been correct only 39% of the time biggrin.png

Hello you little lot.

My internet has been down for several days and only now have I been able to get online. Can somebody update me as to what the weather may be doing, come the weekend and into next week. I have seen the TV forecasts and they suggest more of what we have now, what do you guys reckon. What other netweather news stories have I missed?

Look out your window and that's broadly the weather you will have over the next week at least.

Minor fluctuating differences in both temperature and brightness, but dry and cold for the time if year sums it up, often rather cloudy.

The weather is going to be 'bleurgh' This is a new meteorological term used now to describe the SW.

Put it this way, you don't need to rush out to buy any sun tan cream or anti-histamines for at least 2 weeks. :(

Continuing cold and drier than average for the foreseeable;

Gradually a little less cold than what we have this week but still chilly with no sign of some elusive Spring warmth just yet.

Thanks AWD, not a lot going on then. I suppose, in time we can expect a slow thaw of snow for the places that truly need some assistance right now. I fear what the impact of a sudden warm-up would be. So "touch wood" it won't come to that.

Yes, I wouldn't want that snowflake that settled on my wheelie bin earlier to melt too quickly;

Down at the Model Thread people are banging over some charts with mild albeit very dry conditions.

I'll only be happy if there's some big fat spanish plumes diablo.gif

Or snow! good.gif

Yeah, model watching not necessary at the moment. It's gonna by dry, it's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey. No internet needed!
