Yes, the front currently to the South of Cornwall is weakening and pushing away. Temps in Truro are 2.8c and 2.6c in Jersey where it is either raining or sleeting. There was a period of snow in Alderney earlier where temps were 1.6c.

Our local shipping forecast (just updated) is forecasting the risk of snow near the french coast. It's still sleeting here now so I wouldn't be too surprised to see some of the white stuff here overnight especially if Alderney has already had some smile.png

Local temps have fallen in Jersey over the past hour to 2c and 0.8c in Alderney, where it is now snowing but not settling. They maybe some snow in Jersey later for you.

There is snow falling and settling across the water in France. Its now 0.5c in Alderney and snow is begining to settle - albit very wet. Jersey may see some wet snow, but this is unlikely to accumulate to anymore than a slushy 1-2cm.

Just saw some tumble weed.......

It would appear there is light at the end of the tunnel if the ECM is to be believed.

Lets hope for a surprise or 2 from the Easterly setting up next week, then perhaps we can start dreaming of spring warmth!

Spring warmth?? I'm starting to wonder if we are going to miss a season the way this is going! rofl.gif

Only 3 months now until we start to lose the daylight again and head back towards winter rofl.gif

Insane isn't it. Atleast it's dry, I think that's the only positive to take from this current spell

Feel a bit sad this morning.Just became aware that Glacier point will no longer be posting in the MOD threadcray.gif

I admit i didn't understand a word he was saying but still looked foreward to reading his posts.

Losing some intrest in that thread if i'am honest and his departure will just make things worse.

Way to many posters with way to big egos for me i'am afraid.

Wish GP the v.best in his new job.
