Was hoping to come on here and read that the Meto 16-30 had it all wrong and that actually the forecast looks lovely and sunny n warm for end of April/into May.....sadly disappointed! Really hope this is a glitch in models and doesn't happen after a nice warm up next wk!

While I'm here could anyone point me in the right direction to a website that will give me a good forecast for Lake Garda, Italy? I'm going there next mth on a Eurocamp holiday so really need nice weather or at least no/little rain!

Coast I hope you feel better soon!

Thanx all, xx

Ps - sorry meant to say big thanx to JP for still providing charts and info for us learners, even when quiet here! Thanku!x

Hi wg,

Really envious, love the Lake Garda region, if you havnt been before, try and get to Verona for a day or so. As you probably know "Romeo and Juliets" house is situated there and in the courtyard below the famous balcony, the walls are covered with love notes/letters from all over the world!

Try and get to see a concert or play at the beautiful amphitheatre in Verona, really lovely place.

As you probably are aware the Lake Garda area falls into 3 provinces, Lombardia, Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige, so have a look at the forecasts for those provinces.

Meanwhile here is a link to the official site of the Italian Meteorological Service, don't know how your Italian is but you should be able to get a translation from google.

http://www.meteoam.it/

On the home page you can see the weather forecast map for the whole of Italy, on the Italia tab just scroll down to the province that you need a forecast for.

Below is a link to the official site for Veronas' amphitheatre and a list of forthcoming events.

http://www.arena.it/

Below a site with all info on Romeo and Juliets balcony, courtyard etc.

http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel/Europe/Italy/Veneto/Verona-140824/Things_To_Do-Verona-Romeo_Juliet-BR-1.html

Anyway, although I'm really envious wg, have a great time in the Lake Garda area, I'm sure you'll love it there and hope the weather's kind to you.

Ciao,

Hi each. Well, it's been drizzling with rain for much of the morning and now it's nice warm sunshine. Could this mean a few rumbles later do we think? :)

Back online after major pc issues!

Now thankfully sorted.

Get well soon Robin. Not a happy finish to a great holiday no doubt.

Grey but dry today with no wind. Even the birds are quiet today. They must be as fed up as me with this yucky weather

Sun feels quite strong today, making it feel o.k in the sun, tomorrow looks nice too glad to see the sun finally getting some time in the limelight.

We had a hail in a heavy shower during mid afternoon. Don't think there was any thunder with it, but not sure as I was in a meeting at the time.

Have a good weekend all. I'm hoping the cloud, where I am, will mostly disappear in the next six hours. :)

Looks like we are in for a mild/pleasant blip up until Wednesday. Then turning cooler from there on.

A gradual increase in temperature towards the higher teens it would generally seem. Better than what we've had. Although recently has been better than what he have become accustomed to, we should see the wind calm down.

To me not that exciting, for heat and sun seekers. Seen charts show warmer temperatures lately but of course they never materialise like that.

hi jan

what i would like to see if this blocking dont go away

is for europe to warm up

then we can look for an easterly

all we would need then are the sea temps to warm up smile.png

didnt think i would be looking for easterlies at this time of the year laugh.png
