Rumble of thunder here at London South Bank - really heavy rain too (although probably looks worse due to the gale force winds!)

I'm not so confident of no t&l today here now. The sky looks very dark to my west... :)

I looked at the CAPE charts earlier and noted the diminishing risk as the afternoon progressed, which is why I felt there'd be nothing much here, by the time the unstable zone arrived.

Big flare of lightning on the horizon a while ago here followed by thunder shortly after then heavy rain and strong winds. Blue skies and big clouds now; roads look almost dry again.

Big flash of lightning just now. 1 second delay till the thunder, so about a quarter of a mile away. :)

And another one...

It's passed through (pretty well) Probably at least ten lightning flashes here.

Here's a radar grab, with lightning...

No sign's of any T-Storms up here at the mo', we have had a couple of very light showers over the past few hours but it is currently beautiful sunshine with a light wind and the warmest it's been all day at 15.2°c.
