It's getting very dark over to the west. More rumbles perhaps........:D There was some HUMONGOUS cauliflower heads over the north earlier. :)

Evening all. Well what a lovely evening it is here. The sun is out, the birds are still tweeting and the wind has now died done. What a contrast to the wild 30 mins or so this afternoon. One minute I was still in my office with no lights on, and the window open. The next it turned very dark, with the wind picking up then KAPOWWW a few rumbles of thunder, horizontal rain and hail. I do love cold and snow, but spring can really produce a different extreme which I really do find interesting. Lets hope for the same tomorrow, but not between 5-7pm as I am doing the London O2 experience and walking over it. If the weather is fine and clear I will post some pics from on the top of it.

Morning all,

I'm sure you've all noticed the lack of post from Coast (Robin) recently – as you know he went to NY for his 50th birthday and although immigration couldn't stop him coming in on paperwork 3 hours in line without a break for a pee left him with a lovely parting gift from the US which the NHS are now sorting out  â€“ hopefully he will be back with us very soon if not for our sakes to give those poor nurses a break !

Much fresher feel this morning but lovely as the wind is almost non existent. Currently 8.8°c and partly cloudy.

BBC weather have the line of showers that is moving south east today to the west of me but at the moment they are all to the east. Perhaps a little bit of nowcasting is required to see where the showers end up.

Was hoping to come on here and read that the Meto 16-30 had it all wrong and that actually the forecast looks lovely and sunny n warm for end of April/into May.....sadly disappointed! Really hope this is a glitch in models and doesn't happen after a nice warm up next wk!

While I'm here could anyone point me in the right direction to a website that will give me a good forecast for Lake Garda, Italy? I'm going there next mth on a Eurocamp holiday so really need nice weather or at least no/little rain!

Coast I hope you feel better soon!

Thanx all, xx

Ps - sorry meant to say big thanx to JP for still providing charts and info for us learners, even when quiet here! Thanku!x

Morning all. :)

Quite grotty here, with light showers and coolish.

Sorry to hear about Coast; hope he's better soon.sad.png  That 3 hour wait would totally put me off going to the US. I don't like even a half hour delay, in those queues! I'd probably swear at immigration and be sent packing on the next flight back!

Breezy with sunny intervals here in Reigate, 10.1c.  When the sun comes out it has the effect of making the dark clouds that are around liook very threatening, but so far no rain.  Wekend looks like it will be pretty decent - first outdoor cricket practice of the season for the under 10s.

Hope Coast is on the mend and fully insured!
