Super hazy here to this afternoon though still hottest day of the year at 27.0c, would of hit 28 otherwise, Cheshire Gap breeze trying to form again now though still very warm, 24.2c.

I reached a max of exactly 26.0c here. Feels increasingly humid this evening, a very muggy night in prospect for all of us.

 

The local Met Office forecast has Solihull down for a max of 29c tommorow

Max here was 28.0 °C, so Sunday's top of 28.1 °C still stands...

Already feeling rather warm out here with the temperature having been around 19.3*C for 8am (if that Met Office report for Coleshill is to believed). Nevertheless, with it being close to 9am, I would imagine the temperature has, at least, broken the magical 20*C barrier now.

Edit: Looks like 30*C could just be possible at some point, though I suppose it depends or not whether any showers/thundery showers do break out (although I think it will likely all stay to the East of here).

Wow the temperature is already 23.1c and it not even quite nine o'clock! El Scorchio here we come..........

 

I've reached exactly 29.5c three times since 2006, in June 2011, July 2009, and August 2007 - very decent chance that milestone will finally be surpassed today.

Whats your location now? my temp at 22.0°C NNW facing room not too bad now, but awful after 7pm, I find hottest part of the day indoors is around 2-4am

Fingers crossed! The way the temperatures are rising at quite a quick pace, I feel it is becoming more and more promising.

 

Looks like we're in the hot spot at the moment, on xcweather I can't find anywhere in the country warmer right now than the 25c currently showing for Coventry Airport.
