No of course not. Just did a cut and paste job from June and changed the month.

Here's the July CET from 1659 to 2012, with the 10 year mean in red and the trend in black.

The correlation between June and July CET values is +0.28, which is about average for month to month CET correlations and indicates that a most cooler than average June month and followed by a cooler than average July, and warmer June's followed by warmer July CETs.

Th correlation between the July of one year and the following is just 0.05, so not significant at all.

Frankly i'd love even a sub-15C summer month and i'd say that we are well overdue given that the last instance was i think in 1978.

I'm going for 16.5C average but wouldn't be surprised to see the temp possibly higher and the first above average month for some time. Unless June manages it.

I've looked at my magical crystal ball (which is 99.8% accurate) and it shows July's Cet ending up as 16.2*C - so that will be my guess. Posted Image

I'm stuck between playing it safe or going for a hot month as the models suggest. I'm going to say 16.8c.
