Something just started out to see here near Seaton. Quite a few miles away at the moment though.

Not to sure what's happening here at Poole Barbour but wind suddenly increased , things blowing around almost like a tornado, lightning not as frequent, quite scary though

We are going from no wind one minute to a strong breeze the next, don't you just love the weather! I've reckon the best of the action is heading more Poole way though, looking at the radar.

Some impressive amounts of strikes being picked up by the netweather radar. Not expecting anything my way in that first clusterf**k Posted Image However things should ripen as we go deeper into the overnight period for those of us nearer central parts of Southern England.

A few distant flashes seen here in Broadstone in the last 1/2 hr.  It was very humid and still one minute and then one hell of front came whislting through and blew my garden furniture everywhere!!!  Just made myself a cuppa and will see if anything interesting happens.

All calm here. No sign of any stormy weather.

Been sat on the patio listening to music and having a few drinks with my better half, watching the bats fly around in the dusk.

In fact, just about sums up last couple of weeks here on an evening.

Both feel totally relaxed lately - this weather has been amazing for chilling! Good times!

moderate rain, thunder and lightning now, centre is still to our East

Glad I brought the 'perishables' in earlier

We have a litter of young puppies so it is baptism of fire for them! (they have been out in the garden all day long for the past three weeks so might not appreciate being kept inside with flashes and bangs outside. fortunately they are asleep just now)

A few flashes of lightning towards the south/SSW Yeovil and beyond, plus very distant thunder - feels very humid, still at 24.1c and it's 11pm. Could be an interesting night ahead, plenty of cells in the channel heading towards Dorset/Somerset!!
