Rainy??? Posted Image

Just had a look at all this on the convective thread and I have to say I'm not seeing anything but the rain for tomorrow currently (but a lot of that)

The East of our region will probably float away into the North Sea:

Morning all,

Last day at work today before going off on my hols to the Isle of Wight tomorrow.  Looks like it's going to be a very wet journey - lets hope there aren't any big accidents on the M25 and M3... (or anywhere for that matter!)

Lovely morning here, both at home and work.  There are only 3 of us in work today, no managers, so have taken the opportunity to stick the radio on.  Currently trying to sing along to Magic FM and the guess the year thingy.  My money is on 1987...!

Have a lovely day all Posted Image

Thanks Robin.  Am hoping that Saturday is the only day we get troubled with rain - if it's going to be a wet day at least it's on the day we will mainly be travelling in the car.

Will dip in and out on here though to see how the weather is going to pan out for the week - all be it in the South West and central southern regional thread!

Lovely sunny start to the day but some annoying cloud moving in, will we reach 29C as predicted/hyped?

Clear over much of the region currently and with the wind direction as it is, it should clear up for you guys soon:

Just can't see it myself and that seems to be what has excited the BBC this morning with talk of thunderstorms etc. I'll be surprised if we beat 25°C, maybe 26°C in those favoured spots West of London or North Kent.

MetO have 27°C max for London:

Yeah, something going around this area.

My son had it Wednesday, my dad's got it today, apparently, which has disappointed my son, as they were due to do some pitch & putting.

Sounds like the noravirus to me, you will be fine after 48 hours and to be honest the worst is over after about 12 hours. You just feel rough afterwards for a while. I contracted it at a beer festival last November. Not pleasant and I cannot eat certain types of fish to this day as it makes me feel queasy Posted Image

Change of topic...

Tomorrow is still looking like an uncertain day in terms of distribution of rain and showers. It seems the cold front goes through most areas by dawn or thereafter but gets rather stuck in the process of doing so. Areas to the south and west of the region look to be drying up through the morning but to the NE of London especially then further heavy showers seem possible

However, I guess the detail will keep evolving and in any case it looks like about all of us will get a soaking at some stage
