Morning peeps...A very sticky and sunny 22C...

Hot and sticky start to the day here - it's certainly going to feel chilly tomorrow with a 10 degree drop in temperature !

Just seen that on the BBC news website:  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-23970047

Over 100 vehicles in the crash and an eye witness said "visibility was very poor but drivers were approaching the crossing with no lights"

Muppets.

Just heard an eyewitness on the tv. It sounded like shocking driving from a lot of people. The chap had parked on the hard shoulder and then ran back up the carriageway, frantically waving his arms in warning to other drivers. Some took notice, but others ploughed on at 60/70 miles an hour. The guy would then hear the screech of brakes and the thud of crashes.Posted Image

I hope no one has been seriously injured or worse, it's not like we don't have foggy weather in this country on many occasions.

Fog has completely lifted now, to reveal a cloudless and very sunny sky. Looking forward to my lunchtime walk.

Temp on my weather app reads 19c. Not sure how accurate that is though :/

Morning Leigh, looks about right, maybe slightly down on the region as a whole, maybe the Thames is reducing temps locally for you?

Mornin each. looks like its going to be another scorcher here in Ippy...and that's fine, as long as we get some T&L (super cells) Posted Image after all this heat. That'll set us up nicely for the coming autumn. Posted Image

Anyway....hope you're all well and have a good day everyone.

this horrible hot summer just seems to go on forever! bring on tomorrow!

Miserable attitude. This weather is absolutely beautiful and I hope we get more this month. Frosts/cold etc can stay away til November as far as I'm concerned. Could do with some rain though. Maybe storms tomorrow? :)

The warmth could well be back next week if ECM is right

One of the nicer days of the year and maybe the highest temperatures until we see Summer 2014? Enjoy the warmth anyway and get the rain gear ready for tomorrow.
