I'm finding this weather really quite depressing - think my mood is matching the grey cloud to be honest Posted Image

Cheer up  Posted Image

Pretty miserable here too but thankfully it's only the weather that's gloomy....I'm feeling much happier now I've sorted out some warmer clothes Posted Image

when you say warmer, do you mean the "hot" ones? Posted Image

The seasons first 'Daddy Long-legs' came into the house last night. I smiled and remembered the days when I, along with the other boys at school, used to put them down girls backs to make them scream!

I shan't be doing any of that malarkey any more Posted Image

You have only just got your first ones? We have been seeing them for months around here!

I kind of like this weather, it may be cool and overcast but then I remember what a good summer weatherwise it has been and that makes this weather ok.

Evening all. Well today's weather has been a yawn today. No wind, rain, sun.... Just standard grey! The cloud is starting to thicken now, and a few spits and spots of rain are starting to fall. Looking lively for the weeken though, which personally for me it not good at all, as I will be driving round London on my moped learning more street names.... Been reading through the winter thread earlier, and that always sends a volt of excitement to me. Be lucky

Evening all, hope you are all well! Been quite a while since I have posted on the forums.

It was a very decent summer here with July of course being the stand out month for warmth and sunshine. July's average temperature was a very warm 19.3C. The one big letdown (again) was the lack of storms, we did have a couple of nice storms but nothing more. I think my location has only had 3 'thunder days' this year and I'd be surprised if I heard any more thunder until next Spring.

Anyway Autumn has certainly arrived in the past week with more rain currently falling.  I hope at some point we'll see a decent Atlantic storm this Autumn even if it's just one, another thing that has been lacking in recent years. Hopefully we'll also get a couple of dry sunny periods of weather in October and November with cool crisp days and frosty nights.
