Well it is a bit better now looking out of my office window in the 27th floor here in NW1. The sun is making several attempts to shine. It is certainly much better than it was as I walked from home to Chelmsford Railway Station at just after 7 this morning. It was really dull and drizzly then. I thought this is going to be a great birthday for me. It has not been made a lot better for me by the fact that I have to shortly go over to Straford for a meeting which is certain to be a long one and I doubt that I will be home much before 20.00 hours.

Still it could be a lot worse. I could be unemployed.

Kind regards

Dave

Afternoon all

It has been a strange day, cloudy with the odd sunny spell, nothing major, temps have climbed well though and it is still dry, sure I heard on the weather that is all set to change soon though (was too busy making tea in the kitchen this morning when the weather came on so only what I heard from the TV in the lounge at the time).

Still can't get them to work: 'puzzled shrug bordering on irritated, though with a facial expression that suggests a certain level of understanding for those looking after the website, albeit with the hint of a running out of patience'

AS, two things have you got your Enable emoticons enabled within more reply options to post window and there is a button on the top line which if pressed takes you to BBcode mode which I have done and you can't use them.

Yes, I had a similar issue when I bought a new laptop.

thanks to all that have suggested ways of getting Emoticons to work - they are enabled but I'm using my work laptop, so I don't have as many permissions to fiddle about!Never mind, I have improvised:post-3098-0-37672900-1379004928_thumb.pnAS

It's all kicking off on the model thread, polar highs, hurricanes being steered towards the uk. Going to be chaos and it's only September!!!
