My old male bird Busby was very person friendly too ( he would nibble your nose ) miss him loads.Used to have a barn owl that sat on the curtain rail above the TV and hid behind the sofa to eat ( we had a freezer full of frozen day old chicks as food that we had to keep from the cats when left out to defrost).

I was lucky enough to look after dh African grey parrot and a scarlet Macaw for a while. The African grey was great, sat n my Shoulder as we walked around the house I had been told he was viscious, but one day he ended up on my shoulder ( long story ) and apart from bricking it he was very well behaved. He Ca.me out a lot after that and never nipped me. After I stopped looking after him he Caught someone on the cheek and he needed stitches. The Macaw used to dance if you danced in front of her. Both were wonderful birds. still miss them.on the weather front still looks like a cold but not bitter week ahead. Edited by NorthNorfolkWeather

Birds are far more intelligent than people realise. One of mine, I taught him to lie on his back with his feet in the air on command.Southernman says don't do that, it's cruel.

To be honest like the 12z run, the Operational was pretty much the coldest solution. I've made a post on the model thread pretty much leading to 3 possible solutions. One bad, one I think people would take, and one being a coldies paradise.

If the northerly at least verifies we could be heading down the December 2012 route, question is. Do you feel lucky punk Posted Image
