Hi John,

Thanks for that Italian link. Heavy snow experienced down the east coast of Italy from the region of Marche down to Puglia, on ground as low as 100 metres.

Tom.

I regretted looking at the GFS ensembles, more dartboards than there are at the lakeside complex Posted Image

Sad to see the Comet Ison was pretty much destroyed by its close encounter with the sun, not really a surprise I guess. Posted Image  Probably wouldn't have seen it for cloud anywayPosted Image

In a way I'm quite relieved. Comets are supposed to bring ill fortune - like the one in 1066 when the Normans invaded. So perhaps it's for the best.

Working tonight to take bets on Europa League football.Snowing in Tromso, where Tottenham are playing. Tromso must be the most northern side in the Europa League, inside the Arctic Circle of course. If you want a bit of a snow fix, tune into ITV4 now!Tom.

I always remember that farcical game Chelsea played in Tromso back in 1997. The game had to be stopped several times for the pitch markings to be swept so they could be seen. What a goal from the legendary Vialli on Ice though !!

Morning all and everyone else, dull, dank and dreary here in dirty Dartford. Working from home today ;-) so no M25, Dartford tunnel / bridge, so much happiness at that. Yesterday's sales meeting was the normal load of hyped up rubbish (to polite to say my true feelings) why can't people be honest and not exaggerate. Still hate salesmen, although it was pointed out that I am one, took great exception to that comment, and toys and prams where flying in all directions. I explained that all my work is accomplished purely by my design expertise and vast knowledge of my business and requirements of my clients. I won the argument and apologises where gratefully accepted. Must get on as I got to do a quote, so I can sell a multimillion pound job (think they where right I am a salesman, wonder if I hate myself?)

Should have called this comet 'Phoenix' as it has appeared to have risen from the ashes this morning according to the Beeb.

Morning Ian, Morning Regionaires.

Close up picture this morning of the remnants of the comet:

Talking of cold slushy things that aren't white and just miss most of us, making it the first no-show of 2013:

Well at least there won't be any pillaging in Pevensey this time around then!

Morning all,

Friday at last....Cinderella is off to the winter ball tonight so I'm going to have a busy day being transformed from a cross between a pumpkin and one of the ugly sisters into something a bit more socially acceptable !  Hopefully there will be snow and ice even if it's fake....I think I need a fix (or lots of wine)

I've just been watching the trailer for 'Frozen', I'm so going to have to see this...

Morning all, hope the weather is better today...

Oh it's cloudy again Posted Image

The cat who has been hanging round the house is a real bugger. Checking to see whether everything in my car is up to scratch before the great journey tomorrow, and the cat just casually hops into the car and follows me around. Get the feeling he will be living in the house by the time I return for Christmas.

Morning all. Posted Image

Cloudy, dry and breezy here.

Looking forward to seeing sunshine later, even if the day won't be too special.

Might fall off the wagon I've been on for the last five days later. Posted Image

Enjoy your Friday all.

You should have shown them the Express front page - actually maybe not, as they'd have thought you a proper mug. Posted Image Edited by Steve C
