Is your house 45 ft tall? Posted Image

The road is at 105m.  Then 3 m to the front door, up the steps = 108m.  3 storey house, so there is a little element of guess work but from road to top floor, not far off!  Shall I get the altimeter out?  I'm very sure that your altitude is a lot bigger than mine thoughPosted Image

Cheers Will, you've come to the right thread for that!  Bit worried about your snow depth entry - we might all collectively manage to match your individual depth!

Seconded. I come here for my weather forecast, as well as the craic. I did scroll down from the links into the model thread, but found it a long way over my head, as indeed were the horses, whatever they may be. Sunny and cold over the weekend would be just fine. Some snow late next week would, of course, be wonderful.

I like the occasional ramping particularly because when you do it you announce it - some don't!  I've still got the fire going and am now at that critical moment of deciding whether to chuck some more coal/logs on and get some music going on the headphones, or do the sensible grown up responsible thing and go to bed.  I think I have just answered my own question - music maestro please!

could be quite handy soon

or if you have some strong rope

Posted Image

the uk is under there somewhere

i will say that i do not expect the above chart to be correct

Bound to snow as my beloved Frontera didn't make it past the MoT and has gone to diesel heaven. The family estate has 4WD in a rather low-profile tyre sort of a way, so is OK on slightly salted roads, but is rubbish on hills and going up the drive.

Colder tonight...4.8C. Good omen for a cold sunny day tomorrow. My favourite. Apart from snow of course.

as expected

the main pub run was a colder option from the 10th on

however there are some pretty cold runs there as well

there are also some warm ones which surprisingly puts the mean ABOVE average Posted Image

fi is on the 7th now

although a good sign is the colder air lasts from the 4th to the 11th which is 2 days longer than earlier

expect tomorrow to give even more wild swings and mad thread mayhem

follow the 12z ecm run only in conjunction with the ukmo run at 144

to save yourself from mental model cruelty

going to be away tomorrow so posting will be difficult

fax update back sunday night Posted Image

i will say hi via my phone somehow tomorrow night

off now as got to be up early

night all
