around 5 degrees and lower if fog sticks

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

rain

Posted Image

looks dry again

maybe some drizzly murk on east and north east coasts

temps

Posted Image

again another frost

below freezing most areas except far north east and east but fog could be dense there

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

tuesday

Posted Image

a slightly breezier south west flow but not strong

rain

Posted Image

should stay dry all day but rain enroute for the evening

temps

Posted Image

still cold but a warmer wind direction should see 6-8 degrees

fog clearing quick in the morning as breeze is a tad stronger

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

tuesday night

Posted Image

a breezy south west flow

rain

Posted Image

around midnight

slow moving and heavy rain for most and looks likely to stick all night

I've just seen on Movies 24 (Sky 327) there's a film about to start called 'Sharknado'

Wasn't an image from this film posted by Ali fairly recently? I did wonder what that was all about, as I'd not heard of the film.

I have to say though, the review for it makes it makes it sound really daft! I must watch the start of it...

For those in thread that want to view all output in one day from all global sources,ie, GFS, UKMO Etc . You can view all on one screen (Tile Effect) Handy for the learning type....Also it shows the inconsistencies in patterns like we have now.

Hope it helps. Posted Image

There's a Hurricane David (based on the 1979 Caribbean one?) approaching the California Coast. It's pretty impressive, as it's rotating in a clockwise direction.

(re Sharknado, if I'm confusing people)

Evening all

Went out this afternoon for a stroll as the weather was so nice, ended up in the next village (as you do) as the local wetlands are too wet right now to walk round and the park was close to a mud bath, ended up round m folks and they fed and watered me :) , did not go up the paddock to get some pictures of the horses as I saw the state of my father and their dog (covered in mud) after shifting hay and straw bales (even with their tractor it was a gamble by all accounts).

Dry, calm and almost clear out and quite a frost already taking place out there.

Is that new bond film out yet? Goldfishfinger?

Interesting snippet from Ian Ferguson over in the newly-opened MOD thread (which is so far devoid of the emo posts which inspired my quip here) - apparently, the Met Office rates the JMA (Japanese equivalent of the Met Office) and their model in terms of UK forecasting, as they're specialists at forecasting for islands bordered by ocean on one side and a continental landmass on the other.

Please can someone explain this chat in dumbo's terms. All the drama had made me so confused.
