Few more showers since my last post, about a cm covering. Radar starting to look a bit hee haw oot west of us so not anticipating much more for here. Looks like further NW and down into central belt going to do good.

There seems to be a much larger area of snow becoming organised just west of Lewis and Harris at the moment, possibly much snowier by about 10:30-11:00?

Yeah but they break up as they come over the Fannaichs, Beinn Dearg, Ben Wyvis, the Strathconon and Strathfarrer hills...

Off school as he's still recoveringðŸ‘

Is it just me or does that big thing over the Outer Hebrides look like it is coming right for the Central Belt?  Have things swung more NW now?

If that stays together someone is getting buried tonight.

The heaviest snow I've seen for a couple of years here for about the last 45mins. Got pics but my phone battery is now 0 after the cold got to it, will upload something soon. Must have dropped a couple of inches and is now drifting in the strong winds :)

Around 3 or 4cm lying here now and snowing lightly at the moment. Not quite sledging conditions yet but not far away, kids might get on the cresta run after school tomorrow with a bit of luck !

The most intense bit of that latest shower just missed Edinburgh by about 5 miles to the south  :sorry: Looks like plenty more to the northwest though that are picking up in intensity so I'm hopeful for overnight.

Reading these reports is depressing but great in equal measure. Happy for everyone getting snow but gutted to be missing it. Still drizzling in Germany but beer after work helping me cope lol

So so jealous! Showers just aren't hitting Alloa now that it's cold enough for snow to lie :( Hopefully a covering by the morning...
