And there goes a wheelie bin, first of many I suspect

Edit: A few more crashes and bangs in the last few mins, sounds like garden furniture in someone's garden

Hoolie has more than arrived here, winds howling outside windows shaking! Are the worst of the winds behind that intense line of rain in the Western isles??

the wind has really ramped up in the last half hour, some of the gusts have been quite powerful.  Quite unsettling listening to it powering down the glen towards the house, makes you feel quite wee and a bit of a feartie really.  I think it's going to be a long night.

Tide just turned in the forth and on its way back in. High tide due at 05:20, couple that with the winds forecast for that time and there could be an almighty swell, rough river.

Latest Firth winds picking up again....

Wild outside! House must be at the perfect angle for this one. Not heard the wind roar like this for a while and we're not even started yet!

A friend in Fortose has said it's all quiet there.  Suprised given how noisy it is here already with the wind through the trees.
