You guys high up have done really well for snow this winter!

A rather watery-looking sky here with some milky sun. Quite cool at 4.3C. Winds seem to have dropped out, for a while anyway.

A prolonged moderate-heavy snow shower has left a thin layer of slushy snow in the grass, just enough to make the ground white above 280 m.

Bit of a grey one today, but at least we have missed most of the drizzle/rain. Top temp is 11.8C and still rising.

Mist or fog and continuous drizzle and light rain all day here.

Feeling fairly mild though with a max' of 9.5c and just a light breeze which started off southerly and gradually veered to a northerly by early evening.

Calm but cloudy and dry here this morning, temp 7.6C. Clouds look more hopeful of breaking up today compared with yesterday, so we get to see the sun.

Hoping to have the first BBQ of the year on Monday. No near neightbours, so no-one to annoy with noise or smells.

Still generally cloudy here today but the odd glimmer of sunshine and much brighter, fingers crossed for sunny skies tomorrow/Monday.

Ended up being a rather nice afternooon. Some good sunny spells, lots of brightness and a top temp of 12.2C, which felt v nice because there was barely any breeze. I have high hopes for tomorrow and Monday now.

Oh what a surprise, yet again thick mist/low cloud/no brightness here, this has turned into some kind of running joke now, every Sunday this year grey in Shropshire.

Where is our sunshine? The murk cleared yesterday afternoon, it was clear till at least midnight, why has it come back? Wind isn't even E'ly. Especially as Sat shows Wales and large parts of England clear, why just here?

Thick area of misty murk through the Cheshire Gap covering all of Shropshire with sunny spells west/east and south.

Just gonna get the train out of here early tomorrow, West Wales seems the place to be.

It's just coming and going here, lovely when the suns out, nippy when it's in.

Looking forward to mid week onwards when the air will start to have a more of a southerly flow........20c.. :D  maybe!!!

Lovely day yesterday, warm and sunny at 14.8C.

Misty here at 6 but the sun has won out and we have another sunny morning. Cool though at 2.4C. Looking forward to what looks like another good day.
