Fingers crossed the GFS is on to something for next weekend! feel like I haven't seen the sun since July now after the rubbish August/Autumn.

Can I refer you to your post #3801 in this thread!

After a couple hours rain this morning, we've had a decent day with some snny spells and a max temp of 11.2C. Bit too breezy for my liking, but it is easing down now.

As in a garden/none coat sunny day,

Lord almighty thought we had some hope after this morning's 06z but this is an absolute shocker, charts completely backed off any hope of a warm Azores ridge now, northerly toppler instead.

Heavy blustery showers all day but with with sunny spells this afternoon. Horribly windy in the squalls. Although the temp is around the 11-11.5C mark, it feels cool in the wind.

Lucky you picog, no sunshine at all here, today makes a complete joke of those ramping up the warmth, last week felt much warmer in prolonged sunshine.

Quite cool this morning at 4.6C but with perfect blue skies and wall to wall sunshine. Great for the dog walk. It's gone a bit cloudy now, but it is still pretty bright. Better morning than anticipated as it looks like the rain is coming through much later.

Rain now arrived, but so far light and patchy. Bit of a breeze, but nothing yet, of note.

The wind is howling so much I can't sleep. Wonder if there will be fence panels missing in the morning, it really is roaring here. Really longing for some milder Spring weather.

Edit: And one panel's ripped away. Sigh.
