Cleared a lot earlier than yesterday, a lovely day apart from that damn wind that just refuses to go away, even with 1030mb+ over us. Nicest BH Monday for ages though.

16.7C here. Is it really 19-20 just 30 miles away in the same weather? I can believe 18 in central Birmingham and maybe Hereford (always warmer than here for some reason). We are a lot warmer than London for once though!

Quite a few other stations on wunderground reaching 19-20c around here. Pershore 19c too. We are in a fairly built up area too so expect a heat island. Always expect here to be warmer than the North Midlands anyway.

You also mentioned a nagging wind which we didn't have here.

what a fab day, nearest station reports a high of 22.05 at 3.00pm this afternoon, been truly warm today, plenty pop and sunbathing.

that was after a 3hour walk. current temps 19.7 lovelly eveing

Cheshire Gap breeze funnelling through probably, http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ 

XC weather shows it well, managed to dodge it here surprisingly, very little breeze at all.

Stunning day here from beginnning to end with a top temp of 18.1C.

Perfect BBQ weather, virtually no breeze and not so hot it's uncomfortable in the sun. I'd be happy with today's weather all summer long.

XC weather shows it well, managed to dodge it here surprisingly, very little breeze at all.

That wind was just reserved for us then... It just can't leave us alone whenever there's a warm spell, constantly turning up and keeping us 2-3C cooler than places east and south.

A very warm and sunny day with a max' of 17.1c and 11.00 hrs of sunshine. This makes it the sunniest day since July 25th last year when 11.08 hrs was recorded.

Sun a bit milky this morning, but sky still looking good for another lovely day. Not as cold last night, perhaps because of the slight cloudiness, with a min of 4.2C.

What a strange coincidence- French air traffic goes on strike, all of a sudden Britain is covered in masses of aircraft muck so thick the sun is barely visible. Merci beaucoup....
