Going the watch the bbc forecast in a moment, this less cold air that is showing up tomorrow, been shown on the charts all week.

But tonight I`m not sure what to expect from all of this swirling low,odd snow showers now at 1.1c.

To be honest I think whatever snow does come thru the night will have melted by 10am tomorrow based on latest temps forecast

Love your enthusiasm mate, but that's a little mis-leading, it looks like some could do well, some may not do so!

Hopefully everyone gets a bit of the white stuff!

I'd agree with skaky:

I was having a great day until i heard the news villa have signed Scott Sinclair we are doomed. So i think you would all agree i need the polar low to cheer me up lol.

sinclair will be a great signing for us, great potential in my eyes, him and Gil will give us much more of an attacking purpose, with their pace and ball control, only way is up!

Not sure whether to stay up or set an alarm tonight

Unless it changes direction, it's gonna go straight over Bristol and we may miss the best of the snow as it decays over the Welsh mountains.

Just make sure you don't expect too much guys!

Commonly known for massively over-egging the extent of precip though bud.

Yes, but if anything it's actually under doing the intensity of the precip over Ireland at the moment (it's got the spread of ppn fairly close to radar). The past few snow events the NMM has done well and matched up pretty closely to the radar from what I can tell. It seems to have done better then the euro4 for predicting snow in my neck of the woods atleast.

I'd ignore the bbc forecast right now. They're likely using data which is hours old.

I'm not saying they are wrong, far from it. But it's a tricky low to predict, so there is still a lot to play for.
