Dont get excited aboit that band in Shropshire. Its wet non sticky snow, and unbelievably is trying to melt the cover we already have. Snow melting snow, only in Britain!

Whiteouts being reported in Manchester area same height as here, whats wrong with the Midlands?

Ah, but we don't have any cover here in Bewdley, so the new stuff can't melt it. Logic! :D

Right, off to sleep now. Lets the gods do their pathetic attempt of winter in another cold country ,say....Saudi Arabia?

I expect to again wake up to a cold, damp, brown coloured garden.

Night night all! :-)

Weirpig, Tom and Gord.

From the radar it is all turning to snow now northwest of you. More seems to be developing again over North Wales.

It looks as if you are going to get about 2 hrs of solid snow and then a break and then whatever develops over North wales ontop.

This blob is heading straight for the greater Bham conurbation as a cheshire gap streamer. This could get very interesting espescially as the low now looks to be coming straight down over us with very gusty winds and heavy bursts of snow.

Yay! It's appears to be snowing again on top of the little dusting we had around 6pm.
