its going to flood here if this rain keeps up with this intensity.. keep the photos coming !

that would be ironic wouldn't it; everywhere in the country with Snow, and our little corner with flash floods.

you're right though, it reminds me of a decaying MCS after a heatwave.

starting to get heavier, slowly starting to stick. problem is we had really wet roads from the heavy rain etc earlier, now if it stalls lol

I'm really surprised actually, because I would have thought with this intensity it would turn, but it hasn't.. Ive been in more marginal situations than this, and ended up with a covering. I suspect the affect of the SST's reach high up into the atmosphere due to warm SSTs

Finally turned to snow here...wonder for how long. Would take something really heavy to get a layer down on the sodden ground now.

can't be far off turning here now. The less marginal conditions seem to be moving westward. Just hope we don't lose The precipitation. temp 2.4°C

Edit: about 50/50 rain/snow now. I'm going to be the only person around Liverpool with rain at this rate!

Temperature is 3.2C here, dewpoint is 2.1C.. doesn't feel especially cold, although in the wind it does

The precipitation is dying from here now.

colder air is undecutting the rain, and thats why we have snow now. not sure how long it is going to last, probably not long, but from completely wet to cars almost covered. street still wet but can see where it is sticking.
