The flakes appear to be getting bigger! It's moving very slowly across the region now, probably not much left looking at the radar?

4.2cm measured, we have extremely light snow, but its coming to an end, sky is still orange though

eyes open with that snowband coming south from scotland, it is pepping up and its getting bigger as it moves south, interesting.

from nothing but rain to 4cm of snow when it looked impossible not long ago, well brilliant..now lets see martinez pull of his master stroke lol

Looks like the bulk of the snow remained to my west with only another couple of cm's added to what had already fallen.

Not a bad effort though with about 10cm on the drive.

Looking at the forecast, maybe more showers running down South Pennines later today but I'm not sure whether I'll have the altitude to get snow from it but I can't complain really.

There is about 1cm of snow that has survived to this morning a lot better than yesterday morning, it is all looking pretty out there.

The snow is still lying to the ground here despite the slight thaw last night.

Sounds like some people had some fantastic weather last night. Huge amounts of snow ect. But it's very quiet on here this morning have you all lost ways of communication. Or so tired your all sleeping. We've had nothing just that the snow is frozen/Icey.

Nice pics. Best get out in it quick if you think it's melting. Think some more is forecast over the next couple of days but not sure where? You may be in luck again. We've got plenty of lying snow but it's schools as norm ect. So back to the grind here I'm still giddy about more snow but the hubby and kids are like. Oh bloody snow is still here then.
