Wet snow for several hours, windy and miserable about 2c. Many cars coming into town with snow on them so higher routes affected but I think you need to be above 800 feet to get any lying snow.

Fingers crossed for some snow showers over next few days but I think we are all just fed up with looking for snow and will welcome spring next month.

Snowed for about 2 hours and put enough done to make travel on the roads "interesting" although lower down the valley there was less and down in Bury just wet cold rain.

It turned sleety up here but now it's more like snow again and blown about by a damn cold and raw wind.

Had 45mins of the heaviest snow of the winter, such a shame

It did not settle, another 48hrs or so of wintry showers, before

Turning briefly milder Wednesday, then rinse and repeat on

Thursday with locally heavy wintry shower

A reoccurring patern from this winter.

In the middle of staining some woodwork at home so keep popping in here between coats.

I suppose it's a bit like watching paint dry.

Anyway still heavy snow to sleet to snow to sleet here and at the moment I think sleet is getting the upper hand.

Never mind, a nice Sunday roast in the oven to look forward to, unfortunately washed down with nothing stronger than coffee though.
