Latest nmm updated chart.... Some mad snowfall over scottish highlands 70cm! Some strange streaks across south midlands home counties, dartmoor and exmoor looking good for ten cm and spine of country over next few days.... Should be quite interesting 48 hrs....

Dinner plans changed.... Samosa and empanada filling left over from friday mixed with duck from chinese takeaway last night with tomatoes, cumin, chili, coriander on hob, to make mixed meat burritos with salad!

Just done some more wood staining so if anyone has nothing better to do than watch paint dry, your welcome.

Nothing but a slushy mess outside now, shame really with what fell earlier in the day but pretty well spot on with forecasts.

Currently 3.7c.

Yes warm sector arrived about 3pm and it has been rain ever since, and very heavy stuff as well, current temp 4.9 degrees, temps should start to fall by midnight.

Very heavy rain, notice how easy it crosses the irish sea and even peps up, when has snow ever done that? amazes me every time.

Peeing down here at the moment.

I just hope it keeps up for long enough to get shut of this horrible slush from earlier.

The temperature has risen to 8C here as the mild sector moves through. There is also the odd shower passing by too.

I've just had to delete a load of off-topic rubbish. Can we please bring this back onto regional weather now?

Thanks,

SR
