Gone back to rain here. I think it's game over now.

Same here. At least it was a better day than expected.

Certainly. I was forecasted rain all of today, but I've had a good hour of snow despite non of it accumulating.

It is always great to see it fall.

Could get more this week, once we get this mild sector out of the way. It depends on what those showers are like tomorrow and Tuesday.

I think the southwesterly element of the wind may mean we are mostly dry tomorrow but yes there will be plenty more chances down the road as it looks.

Just been to Rising Bridge to buy some chicken food and was amazed to see how much snow was there, and on returning here its just the same, not good on the roads in some places where there's no grit, a bit slippy.  Still snowing here and cold in a strong wind.

Still snowing here, heavy wet snowflakes, but alas it is very wet stuff and has only settled on grass, roofs and some other surfaces, with a slushy mess on the roads .Current temp 2.3 degrees but favourable dewpoints which has been crucial, without these being on the right side of marginal it would have just been cold rain.

Usual suspects are closed such as Wrynose and Kirkstone Pass, not a day to be out on the fells conditions terrible with whiteout conditions.

Expecting the snow soon to turn sleety and then plain rain as the warm sector invades over the next hour.

Tonight will see temperatures fall rapidly again once the warm sector moves through with conditions favourable for further snow at modest levels, but all will depend on where showers track. So plenty of snowy opportunities for Monday and Tuesday.

Edit - As expected it is now just rain, still we managed a 3 hour heavy snowfall albeit a wet one with only a cm cover on some surfaces.
