Another chilly day despite abundant sunshine from lunchtime until sunset. It was another cold frosty start, awoke to min of -2 degrees, and like yesterday sunshine and blue skies, but then the fog invaded.

Another early frost has developed current temp -0.5 degrees, once again BBC temps should be ignored, min predicted tonight 4 degrees! and NW forecast said no chance of frost.. how can they be so wrong!

This is turning into a lengthy frosty period, vast majority of nights over the last 3 weeks have produced at least a ground frost, more often than not air frost.

Cloud arrived again, back up to 5c... Boring!! Looks like changes at the end of the week and becoming more unsettled but nothing really wintry.

Another boring day here with cloudy skies. This is my least favorite kind of weather, no kidding. I'm already fed up with it!!

Well done to the few hardy souls who are keeping this thread ticking over despite the lack of any exciting weather to talk of. Hopefully winter will have one more go soon before she gives up for another year. I am still hopeful. Come on snow we are all waiting...
