Now somethings starting to build near Worcester and heading Kidderminster way. Not doing much but shows that it's not over yet.

I think it's going to come good soon. More showers seem to be appearing.

Edit: Although it looks like it's dying again!

Everything which forms over the Midlands always seems to go North.

The stuff over Bournemouth is heading straight here. I'm cacking myself for it. you guys. An take it. Take it away!!

Dont get your hopes up. The storm could actually die over the Midlands and come back to life in Manchester or Leeds (up North). Its happened before.

Now there is rapid development near Worcester.

This is our chance.

Absolutely hammering down here in Bewdley. Really heavy rain, battering on the windows. No thunder at all, though.

Edit: eased right off now, almost stopped. That didn't last long!

Quite fed up at how the SE constantly manages something and rapidly developed storms even though their risk should have been low

IMO. Thy would never happen here. Any showers here are lasting about 5 mins before dying. :(

We have supercellular activity towards our far south, wind is manic out there has to be said! A warm one at that.

That storm may break in two, causing some of us fellow Midlanders to miss out on what seemed to be heading directly towards us.

Gone quiet out there now the lower mid level showery cloud seems to have cleared for now, just the high cloud currently.

So it's got about 15 miles to develop into something!

Well they've managed to die off between Worcestershire and here before...why not the opposite?

That one near London is heading West. Either one of those storms are bound to hit us. 6.30am wake up call doesn't fill me with joy now.

Ready to go to bed soon I think. Can't be bothered to wait for a few showers which clearly don't want to electrify over the Midlands.

Ooh, a flash! Out of the corner of my eye, so can't be more precise than that. No thunder (that I heard) though.

Edit: heh, now a distant rumble. Too long after the flash to be directly associated, though.

Finally a couple of Flashes here now. Spoke Too Soon but still have my doubts on the overall picture.

Plenty of CG directly to my south probably Kidderminster. 1 to 2 flashes a minute...
