Clearing now but that went insane for a bit.

I've just gone on Blitzortung n there are strikes to our south west, lets see what happens!

Rains stopped! South is still flickering away again though. Maybe it's back building??

The three major cells seem to be merging across most of Southern England! Gaps are quickly filling up!

Indeed! Sadly, we might end up a bit too far west now. But who cares! That was incredible!

I think...think...we're done here.

However, there are sfefics in South Wales..which I think may be the cold front itself. So maybe a little more to come?

Edit:....um.....maybe we're not done then!

Lots of flickers to my south and southeast. Looks like this may be coming off that Storm which has drifted up from Southampton. Might not be overhead but will give flashes for a long time yet!!!!

Yep. Solihull getting their turn now!

So the cold front itself in an hour or two time might just have a little afterthought on it?

Sferics appearing down in Worcestershire again.

Need to see next radar update.

Edit: Must be rogue. Only interest downwind from us in the stuff in the Welsh Valleys. That looks interesting mind.

Well we did it again...just as we think all is lost we've sneaked in on the fringes of an event.

How lucky are we that it intensified when it did? And we got the best out of it too!

When we do get amazing weather events here in the Black Country..be it snow or thunder...it seems to be by the skin of our teeth!
