Well you missed a lot of weather, just like we did in Shropshire...

Wednesday virtually all the rest of England hit 30C while we were sat under the most pathetic sheet of muck all day that wouldn't budge, then had to watch storms kick off over Whitchurch and move up north.

Friday everywhere from Wolverhampton eastwards and parts of Wales had a lightning fest, Shropshire got nothing.

Tuesday was a nice day though, sunny and 28C....

Storms in the Midlands look as if they are decaying. Not surprising since they are coming from the West. Storm south of Stratford is no longer a storm.

It still hasn`t wet the dust a high of 5mm is the max as far as it will go this year.

Don`t get summer downpours in spring or winter.

Storm just to my south, moving west to east seemingly. Good rumbles and a few bit of lightning. Clouds don't seem dark enough to be producing this lol

Can hear the storm rumbling to my south. Quite a bit of thunder too. Another one seems to be developing to my north east but not as active yet.

All moving through fairly quickly.

Well another bust for Shropshire! Had some heavy rain while i was out shopping up town, then we had another shower not long ago. Cleared up now and you can see the steam coming off the fence already. So all in all this plume event delivered nothing round here really gutted!

Distant thunder to the south as this latest band of showers passed through. Mainly a wind and heavy rain event though, so not too much to miss Shane.

Remainder of the week looks very dull convective wise.

I was caught out in the one about an hour ago. It was briefly very, very wet! Very dark sky and several rumbles, plus one or two really big bangs with impressive forks. Now? Blue sky, warm, sunny. The ground is still soaked, though, even in direct sun, which shows how much water fell!
