Loveky day here, must of been about 20°c perhaps a little higher in the sun out of any breeze.

Perfect conditions really.

It's gone cloudy night now though but should clear again later, should be decent weather over the weekend, mid 20s likely :);)

Been working on an outside job today and it's been one of those days where the fleece was on and off more times than the mobile signal in Suffolk! Very chilly start, fleece on. Sun came out, fleece off. Clouded up fleece on....

Got home from work and Mrs Blessed was sitting in front the laptop wrapped in a fleece blanket. Checked the indoor temp and it was 18.9C. Checked the outdoor temp and it was 20.7C. So I threw open the patio doors to warm the house up!!    All clouds have completely melted away now and it's a beautiful evening.

Feels nice and cool here now, with small cool breeze off the sea.

Nice sleeping night.

Moon is looking quite prominent tonight a tinge of yellow too would take a photo but it's out of focus.

How do you know the photo will be out of focus before you take it, lol... (joke)

Disappointingly cloudy morning here, feeling cool too. Hopefully the sun will come out later, have friends and family over for a BBQ this evening.

Its lovely and sunny here.

PLenty of high cloud at times, but so far not enough to put out the sun.

A very nice 21c, perfect temp.

I have to agree with the previous 3 posts which nicely sum up today in my location. Some disappointing amounts of cloud at times, but still plenty of warm sunshine and can't grumble at a very pleasant 21C.

The cloud cover satellite at 17.10 tonight shows the pesky clouds for some of us and the glorious sunshine for Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Hope you guys in the SE enjoyed it!

Way too much infill cloud here for much of the day and felt cool with 21C the max. Cloud magically cleared towards dusk leaving nice views of the moon but a cold evening, everyone visiting here asked to borrow jumpers/coats as they felt cold sitting out in the garden. Annoying for the beginning of August but had a lovely BBQ evening anyway!

Having a BBQ today, hope it stays dry, cool would be cool as I don't want it too hot when standing next to a fire. Heard 27c is possible though!  :help:  :cray:

Disappointing day at the Den but that's standard..car said it was 24C might be a smidgen too high oh well I'm not complaining it's not looking that bad for our region. :)

Lovely day today, unbroken sunshine and warm, not much wind about either. Perfect. Not sure why it feels like it may storm later to me, nothing forecast by anyone though so must be wrong.

Stunning day, Warm & sunny!

BBQ smell in the air along with all the neighbours out in their gardens enjoying a Sunday summers evening!

Exactly how it should be..

I wonder how long it takes for members to start posting 'we need rain' after 1 week.

Always makes me laugh!

Hello Ben,

We need rain here!

From Monday to Friday my family had a caravan holiday in Hopton (Just in Norfolk, between Lowestoft and Grat Yarmouth. It was freezing cold with a strong northerly wind most of the time with heavy showers on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons with water running down the streets in streams. Thursday morning was also unsettled. Friday morning at the site was pleasant and fairly sheltered from the breeze. We had to drop our youngest son back at Huntingdon on our way home to Chelmsford and made the mistake at stopping off at Gortlestone for the afternoon. It was a big mistake as it was absolutely perishing with a strong wind blowing the sand into our faces. As soon as we traveled inland the weather warmed up noticeably.

Whenwe got home our neighbours told us they had not had a drop of rain and our plants looked very sorry for themselves. It was nice to enjoy a bit of a warm up!

Kind Regards

Dave

As a Norfolkman, I'm experiencing a moment of schadenfreude here; if you thought it was bad at this time of the year, try in the winter when there's a north-easterly from Siberia picking-up moisture from the North Sea!  We call it a "lazy wind" as it seems to cut straight through you.
