Is that our supercell over Bournemouth, most active lightning and lightning taking a more NE turn?

If it is then it will take the exact track predicted by Euro4 - heading towards Lincolnshire but cutting a great swathe through CS England and the East Midlands first. Too far east for me but I would chase it.

Quick question-

My partner is fascinated by Blitzortung  (he's loving the sound waves) but he wants to know how they're recording the strikes. I know there's mention of stations, but nothing more technical than that (that I can see)

2 Flashes, and few rumbles here on welsh border.

Died overhead, almost like a winter storm. not consistant.

I think we`re heading through a dry gap again.

It is going mental south of Bournemouth now and the storms SE of London and in NW England and N Wales not at all bad either. The massive gap in the middle should fill up in the next couple of hours (I hope).

Same here Supacell, all seems very quiet here with nothing developing south of here at all.Still a long way to go though.

Only because it seems to be taking a different route to the rest of the storms in that area, torrential rain has now hit me here!

well logic dictates that as the warm front is already to my north when the cold front catches it up I should be in less volatile situation my south correct or am I clutching at straws

Hi Gordon, how you coping with the storm threats...?

Hope you're ok, I'm starting to twitch a little.......

Lightning getting increasingly frequent to the south, though mostly in the clouds for now. More storms to the south of that coming up from Brighton, happy days ...

Same here that's the one I'm watching. I think it'll veer NE eventually and like you say give Lincs a nice show in the small hours. Easy to get there though, not much more than an hour drive for me.
