Light rain - doesn't look too bad on the radar and I think the met have taken the yellow warning from the region.

...but with regards to the weekend, dare I say it could the cold be locked-in for a while?  Some models showing reloads aglow, but all speculative at this stage.  It will certainly feel a bit brrrr from Saturday onwards though.

Just back from Dundee , went in the night to miss the weather ,conditions deteriorating quickly now ..

Hammering it down here at the moment, not nice at all.

Was the Dundee trip the caravan collection one you mentioned last week.

yeah set of at 2 am ,shattered now though !!

At least you and the mobile road blocker are back in one piece:-)

I assume that it is for holidays.

Weather is really vile here now and considering that the rain warning has been removed and we were never under the wind warning, it is peeeeeeeing down heavier than weekend and really gusty.

Role on the drier conditions forecast for weekend.

I'm not even bothered about sharing in the snow, just a bit of sun and a few days without rain will do.

After a dry couple hours, a few heavy showers are moving through at the moment with the gusty wind hammering the rain against the conservatory.

Not the most pleasant of evenings

Could be the first widespread frost and indeed the first frost of the season for some at the weekend, imagine the ice rinks after all the rain!

A few frosty mornings would make it feel much more seasonal.

Add a bit of snow to it and better still but your right about the ice rinks, especially in areas prone to shade.

Gusty winds here now, should be reaching peak over our areas (stronger to the south of the region) in the next few hours.

Same here ,a bit shocked by the intensity of the dark .....

Sort of torrential dark, not that fine dark we usually get in our region.

I still think this dark will blow through by morning ......

A tenner says it's back late afternoon tomorrow though.
